All transfers in our own 4x4 minivan are included, so no hassle with parking, driving on snowy roads and overcrowded skibussen.

skisafari in the Espace Mont Blanc

Starting point of this unique ski safari is the Bekker Mountain Chalet in Finhaut, easy accessible by public transports from Geneva airport, located on the outskirts of the Mont Blanc massif. This comfortable accommodation is Made by skiers for skiers. We have the same method as some backcountry lodges in Canada. Good food, good bed, private transport, wellness facilities and even heliskiing opportunities virtually on the doorstep. You will be welcomed by your charming host Ilse with a drink and snacks by the fireplace. Your guide will discuss the program, in which we count on flexibility of the guests so that we can benefit from the best possible snow there is. In the lodge we have all sorts of materials available: avalanche beacons, shovels, probes, ABS backpacks, not to mention a wide choice of excellent freerideskis with skins and skicrampons.

From Monday on, the guide will be there to take you to the best off piste spots. We start our Tour du Mont Blanc in one of the most famous freeride areas of Chamonix. For example, on the majestic Grands Montets with long runs on the Glacier d'Argentiere. After a first day out, the taste of a beer at one of the bars of Chamonix and Argentiere is extra nice. After a après ski drink we step in our minivan for a short transfer through the Mont Blanc tunnel to Italy's Courmayeur. Here we sleep two nights in our simple but cozy little hotel of Elena and Vittorio with wellness facilities. In the evening we'll enjoy the delicious Italian cuisine and of course the wines! From our hotel we are fast with the new lift to the high Pointe Helbronner on the Italian side of Mont Blanc. The beautiful, long descent on the Toula Glacier is one of the highlights of this trip. Then we can, if conditions allow, decide to take the over 20 km long Vallée Blanche descent to Chamonix and then by bus back to Italy.

The next day we go to Courmayeur or area of Pilla above the town of Aosta. Here we have many wonderful opportunities and also steep descents in couloirs to be skied. Then we drive to Etroubles on the Grand Saint-Bernard pass, where we sleep in a hostel with a fantastic kitchen. From Etroubles we have the opportunity to make a nice ski tour or a combination of freeride and skitouring from a small ski area. A real secret place!

The last day we drive through the Saint Bernard tunnel to Verbier. Verbier Bruson has much to offer. What about Backside Montfort or Stairway to Heaven, two of the many famous off piste ski routes which this world famous area has to offer. A true freeride paradise! Once we have loaded our skis in the minivan for the last time, we drive back to the Bekker Chalet, where we finish our tour with the traditional Raclette. While enjoying a bottle of Fendant, we look back on our skiing adventure ... and dream of our next adventure!
