Introduction to ski touring - day programme
Above the clouds, above the crowds! Since many people tend to avoid the overcrowded skilifts, ski touring is definitely on the rise. It is the best way to discovers the vastness of the mountains in winter. Off the beaten track, discover new places (or visit the places already known in summer), preferably far away from the crowds. But how to start ...? Some knowledge, techniques and experience in all types of snow are necessary to practice ski touring or hut to hut skiing. During this introduction day, you will learn the basics of uphill (and downhill) skiing on unprepared terrain under the guidance of an experienced and trained IFMGA certified mountain- & skiguide.
This introduction day is specially developed for good downhill skiers (as from 10 years old) who wish to start the practice of ski touring.
This program is also open to snowboarders using a splitboard for an additional charge. We have 3 splitboards in different sizes.
