Heliski Trient Valley - Mont Blanc Range

The majestic Glacier des Grands and Glacier du Trient offer a wonderful scenery for an unforgettable day of heli assisted skitouring. Starting point is our own Bekker Chalet in Finhaut where you will be welcomed with a hot coffee, tea or chocolate and a safety briefing. After having distributed the safety gear we will exercise the use of the avalanche equipment and check one last time our gear. Everything under control? Ready for take-off!

In approx 7-10 minutes the Air Glaciers helicopter will take you from 1000 m to the col de Plines at 3280m. From here you will enjoy the view on the entire Valais 4000+ m mountain range. We ski a light slope and put on our skins for a short hike up with dazzling views on the Rhone valley. After a picnic snack, we start backcountry powderskiing. There is space enough to make your own tracks, an unforgettable experience! If this is not enough, you can skin another col up for even more descends in virgin powder. After hours of unforgettable big mountain skiing, we will end in the village of Trient where you will be picked up by our minivan. A drink on a sunny Finhaut based terrace is well deserved and our own glacier tracks can be admired while enjoying afresh glass of beer or local wine!

Groups up to 6 persons per mountainguide. Only for well acclimatized proven experienced off piste skiers with excellent fitness.

Prices incl 1 heli flight Finhaut- Col des Plines, IFMGA certified mountain guide, welcome drink at the Bekker Chalet, certificate and safety gear. Excl skirental of freeride skis with crampons and climbingskins (€ 30 pp):
