E-Mountainbike day trip Vallée du Trient/Chamonix
The region in between Chamonix in France and Martigny in Switzerland with its beautiful mountain villages, flowery alpages and high snow-capped peaks is perfect for challenging e-mountain bike tours with dazzling views and great single trails. The terrain is technically challenging, but with the guidance and tips of a professional mountain bike guide, you will take full advantage of an unforgettable dynamic and sporty day in the mountains.
Mountain biking in the Alps has never been more fun than since the introduction of the e-mountain bike! Thanks to the extra power, driving uphill is suddenly a lot more dynamic and you even have enough energy to climb several thousand altimeters. This broadens your range enormously and increases the choice of terrain. After all, a steep climb more or less can easily be put behind it.
In addition, the power that the engine offers, gives you extra courage to drive up the steeper passages. With good cycling technique, it is therefore easier to climb steep, technical passages.
You might not say it, but E-mountain biking in the Alps is at least as physically demanding as biking without a battery in lower elevations. Because that extra power is so addictive, you often pedal harder and as you get tired less quickly, you last longer.
We believe that the fun and thrill of e-mountain biking is comparable to freeride on skis. The dynamics, required technique and the rugged alpine world, far away from the crowd, make it a true outdoor adventure.
Especially as you can bike technically challenging routes, the bike is quite heavy and you don't want to be left behind on the slope of a mountain with an empty battery, correct cycling technique and tour planning is of great importance. An experienced, well-trained mountain bike guide is a very valuable addition!
