Hunting THE VERY BEST SNOW IN THE ALPS

Real powder hunters will love this ski safari, which in recent winters has proven its success. The concept is simple: base and starting point is the centrally located new Bekker Mountain Chalet. Located on the border between France and Switzerland, easy to reach by train from Geneva airport and by car from the highway from Basel and Lausanne. Here you will always find good snow within 10 - 40 minutes driving. But we want more, so we jump, possibly after a day spent on your own in one of the ski resorts of Chamonix (depending on the chosen date), in our 4x4 minivan and go chasing the best powder to be found!

Sometimes these are big ski resorts like Verbier, Chamonix and Courmayeur, where he knows the secret descents. Often, however, he will take you to small ski areas with lots of charm, hidden from the beaten track. That's exactly where you will be able to make your on tracks!

Before we get out in the snow, we will train some avalanche safety exercises first. After that, we'll get up on the mountain! That may be the superb off piste area of Les Marécottes, the forests of Vallorcine or Argentière glacier of the Grands Montets. If conditions permit, and the group agrees, we can choose for a day heliskiing on the Trient Glacier / glacier des Grands. The landing of the helicopter is just about on our doorstep! After skiing, a drink on the sunny terrace in Finhaut while admiring our own tracks on the glacier will be deserved!

Then we go somewhere in the western Alps (Switzerland - Aosta Valley Italy - France) where the snow is on its best for freeriding. In short, it will be a surprise where this journey is going. It is certain that you are guaranteed a good bed and good food and you can play in the snow during the day. You will be able to look back at the end of the day on beautiful freeride memories. We end the programme in our own chalet with a nice farewell dinner.

This program is also suitable for participants on snowboard (splitboard) or telemark (please mention when booking). Freeride skis with touring binding are compulsory order to achieve the best slopes. They are for rent from our own depot.

You will stay in the Bekker Mountain chalet in the small Swiss town Finhaut, a stone's throw from Chamonix and only 12 minutes from the nearest ski resort of Chamonix (Vallorcine) - also easily accessible by public transport. The chalet features a wellness facilities like sauna and wood fired hottub, free WIFI, TV, fireplace and kitchen. You sleep in comfortable 2-4 person rooms (3 rooms for up to 7 to 8 participants) This program can also be organised for families and private groups.
