Antarctica- Basecamp cruise

Join Edward Bekker on an expedition cruise to Antarctica on board the Dutch expedition ship m/v Hondius! Encounter wild penguins up close and see leopard seals, humpback whales, minke whales and orcas while kayaking and snowshoeing. Elbrus (5642m) summer expedition

The Elbrus, Europe's highest mountain, is located in the Baksanvalley in the heart of the Caucasus, on the Russian/Georgian border. Via Moscow you can fly to Mineralnye Vody in the Caucasus. This programme provides an extended acclimatization. During the first days we gently acclamatize while enjoying the beautiful mountains. After having climbed the Little Kogutay 3850m, or depending on the circumstances, another mountain, you are well prepared for the ascent of Elbrus

We have allocated sufficient days to climb Elbrus Westsummit 5642m and / or east summit 5621m through a classical, not technically difficult but long route. After having climbed the Elbrus, you have the possibility to schedule a visit to Moscow.
